Capstone Project: Databases

Description

In this project, you will demonstrate the database-related knowledge and skills that you have recently learned. In this capstone project, you get to construct your own specific Airtable database.

Assignment Tasks

  1. If you haven't already, sign up for a free account Airtable account and be sure to read through the Guide to Airtable.

  2. Create a new database (referred to as a "base" in Airtable) for a set of information that is of interest to you. For example, you could create a database for your co-ed soccer team keeping track of each players stats. Or, a database for a collection of favorite superhero action figures, Or, a log of the different dogs you walk as part of your side job as a dog walker. These are just a few off-the-cuff ideas.

  3. If you are still stumped as to what you might create as your database, be sure to take a look at the extensive list of templates and find one that would be applicable and valuable to you. You may also create a new base from scratch if you have an idea for something altogether new.

  4. Minimally your database should have the following features/functionalities:

This capstone project is worth 50 points or 5% of your overall grade. Your submission will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
